Painting has been
transformed into a makeshift scenery as an attempt at
dealing with the loss of an approach based on the subject’s stabile relation to
form and space, namely modernity. Apparently originating from
a mourning modernist, the work deals with questions of authenticity, depth and
authorship. Although evidently critical to its own approach, the work
still contains certain poetic and aesthetic intentions beyond the apparent,
residing between the lines.
